Brands in our minds

The market is evolving vertiginously, not only by the protagonist that the client has acquired in these last times, but because the new technologies in the economic world, besides the Internet, have created the necessity to create a new strategic vision that it does difficult to predict his final reach and consequences.

The consumers have taken the relief to the production; since at present, they are the true creators of the interest of the companies, is there where the brand of each company or product enters.

The brand is, essentially, a promise. Therefore, it is not enough whereupon it satisfies the needs and expectations with the clients. It must be able to wake up enthusiasm and to create lasting loyalties. The new mandate of marketing, therefore, consists of creating a powerful brand, which inspires confidence and of which emanates an excellent and differentiated promise.

To have a strong name can be, besides valuable assets, the more effective competitive weapon for a company. And although the brands do not have a limited service life, a bad administration can kill them or cause that they are losing value throughout the time. Therefore all effort is very important that the company pawns on securing the wished positioning, but the positioning does not talk about the product, but to which it takes control of the mind of the probable clients or people to whom it is wanted to influence; this is how the product in the mind of these is located.

Thanks to the globalization and to the constant bombing of publicity we have forgotten than in fact we needed and what we are buying, a clear example is when we wished a tail soda water of cola you request as it…. Can you give me a tail soda water of cola or a Coca-Cola?

And if they do not believe me you can see the next video. Logorama is an animated short French of 16 minutes, directed by Fran1cois Alaux, Hervé de Crecy and Ludovic Houplain and produced by Author of Minuit. The film presents/displays diverse situations happened in a Los Angeles filled with more than 2.500 logos and mascots of diverse companies. The short gained the Kodak Prize in the Festival of Cinema of Dogs of the 2009, and the Oscar to the best short animated in the Prizes Oscar of 2010.

Logorama explores the extent to which logos are embedded in our daily existence. Said members of H5, "Logorama presents us with an over-marketed world built only from logos and real trademarks that are destroyed by a series of natural disasters (including an earthquake and a tidal wave of oil). Logotypes are used to describe an alarming universe (similar to the one that we are living in) with all the graphic signs that accompany us everyday in our lives. This over-organized universe is violently transformed by the cataclysm becoming fantastic and absurd. It shows the victory of the creative against the rational, where nature and human fantasy triumph."

And i have a theory..... minimun you know 20 brands in the video.

The Rastafari Culture

When the world was called to redemption, announcing the inevitable fall of the throne of Babylon by divine intervention, it was the year of 1930 when a black king’s coronation in Ethiopia is proclaimed, as the fulfillment of biblical prophecies that tells of the second coming of Christ to earth in his own divine lineage. Several events in Africa, especially in Ethiopia, talks about the old African Kingdom that started at the Holy City of Jerusalem: from Mount Zion to the tribes Rastafarians.

It helped as inspiration for the exploited and battered masses, for the poor Jamaicans and the African descent seeking to save their lives from the horrors of slavery and degradation.

The main influence in the foundation of Rasta Doctrine was Mr. Marcus Mosiah Garvey, who was the first orator internationally recognized of the black conscience. He was who announced the early coronation of a black king in Africa what will redeem blacks scattered on the planet. He said:

“Look carefully to Africa, because when a black king be crowned, the day of redemption will be close.”

We could say that Marcus Garvey is the Juan Bautista of culture Rastafari.

Is not about a religion, is not an organization, there’s no a director, the Rastafarians doesn’t accept organized power. Rastafarianism is an attitude, is a way to understand the life…

Illegal business: Traffic of animals

A very serious problem around the animals is the illegal traffic of them.
The trade of protected animals is the third most profitable illegal business in the world, after the drugs and arms sales.

The contries most affected by this problem are Argentina, Indonesia, Thailand and Spain.

Rhinoceroces, tigers, elephants, chimpanzees, crocodiles, leopards and exotic birds and frogs are only some animals that are in danger of extinction because they are captured to be sold or to obtain food, skins, thophies, teeth, tourist objects, traditional medicines and others things.

The most miserable of the illegal traffic of animals is:
Three quarters parts of the animals die during the capture, transportation and marketing, so new captures will be necessaries to meet the demand of the clandestine market.

Consequences of the illegal traffic of animals:
  • Alters populations of protected animals
  • Declines and causes direct effects on others species and subsequently disrupts the food chain.
  • And the most important and worrisome is the loss of biodiversity in the world.
Animals proteccion in danger of extinction:

Several institutions make a big effort to be aware of the gravity of this problem.

There are laws that control the periods of time and the maximum number of animals that is permitted to hunt.

Also there are people that protect the species in periods of match up and breed.

However, ultil now all this hasn't been enough to stop the illegal traffic of animals.

Obesity issues in Mexico

Obesity and overweight problems un Mexico are causing severe health issues on people who suffer these disorders. Another problem is the huge economic cost for medical facilities because, some researches show taht in this year (2010), 80 billions pesos have been spent to attend to needs of patients with obesity diseases caused by obesity and overweight.

According to a study of the New England Journal of Medicine, only 13 percent of parents accept that their children have overweight and obesity problems because it is very difficult to convince them to modify the eating habits of themselves.

In my concern Ithink that we have to take care about children habits because they are still naive and they can eat a lot of junk food thinking that is healthy for them.

Have you ever wondered what a dream is?

Dream Concept & REM

A dream is a succession of images, sounds ans emotions projected by the mind. Dreams happen during Rapid Eye Movement (REM) stage of sleep. In a typical night, you dream for a total of two hours, broken up by the sleep cycle. Other mammals and birds also have REM slpeep stages, but cold-blooded animals like turtles, lizards and fish do not.

Sleep Stages

Stage 1: Light sleep (drifted in and out of sllep and could be awakened easily); slow eyes movement.

Stage 2:Eye movement stops and the brain waves become slow with only a occasional burst of rapid eye waves.

Stage 3: Delta waves (extremely slow brain waves interspered with smaller, faster waves)

Stage 4: Almost exclusively delta waves.

REM (Rapid Eye Movement)

Stages 3 and 4 are refered to as deep sleep, that means it might be very difficult to wake someone from this stages. During deep sleep, there is not eye movement nor muscle activity. This is why some children experiences bedwetting, sleepwalwing or night terrors... or even all of them!

A complete sleep cycle lasts at least an average of 90 to 110 minutes.

Sleeping & Dreaming

REM sleep usually begins after a period of deep sleep known as stage four sleep. An area of the brain called the pons shuts off signals to the spinal cord, causing the body to be immobile during REM sleep, In other way, there are occasions the pons don't shut down the spinal cord's signals, making the person acting out their dreams; AKA sleepwalker. This condition is rare and known as "REM sleep behavior disorder"

The areas of the brain "turn on" during REM sleep seem to help learning and memory. Infants spend almost 50 percent of their sleep time in REM sleep (20 percent in adults). This explains why do children learn quickly. If people are taught various skills and then deprived into REM sleep, the often cannot remember what they were taught!

Now you know how important and pleasurable is sleeping... even in the classroom! Maybe, if you aren't that lost, you would learn in class even if you fall asleep! Such a clever way to learn!
This post have been made by Oscar Alberto from the Advance 3 course classroom to al my classmates and of course for our teacher Mauricio... Sleep, rest and dream well!!

THE REPTILIANS

The Reptilian Aliens which are called Reptoids are proportional in size to modern humans. They have a snake like or lizard appearance. These are highly advanced entities but viewed as being of a negative, hostile or dangerous disposition since they regard humans as a totally inferior race. They would perceive us much the way we would perceive a herd of cattle. The information about these creatures varies from source to source. Supposedly they consider Earth their ancient outpost and want to have complete control over it because their planet is becoming unable to adequately support life.

The Reptilians are the creation of the Carians, their parent race. They evolved on a planet in the Alpha Draconi star system of the Orion Constellation. The royal line of Reptilians are the Draconians, the winged dragons. The name of their royal line is the House of Aln. This is not the exact spelling, but it is close. It is more like Oln or Ahln. Still, keeping this in mind, the Council requested I spell it Aln.
The Reptiles have two other major sub races. They are known as the Winged Serpents (Snakes) and the Lizards called by some, the Lizzies.
The Reptilians are less emotional that their Human counterparts. Yet they have a highly refined knowledge of universal physics and laws. The Reptilians are responsible for the Mystery Schools on Earth and their teachings are from the ancient knowledge held by their parent race, the Carians.
The Reptilians were given a creation myth by their parent race, the Carians, that clashed with the creation myth of the Humans. The Reptilians were told that they had the right to colonize all planets and star systems in the universe and when they did, they also had the right to conquer or destroy any civilization they found there.
This creation myth has been the source of the many conflicts between the Reptiles and the Humans throughout the dimensions. Yet, it was given as part of the Universal Game (Polarity Integration). Without it everyone would have lived in peace and there would be no conflict. If this were the case, soul evolution would cease and the universe would become stagnant.
The Reptilians represent the Dark in the Polarity Integration Game while the Humans represent the Light. Through this game, of the highest order, all souls in this universe have the opportunity to spiritually evolve and rejoin the creative god source.

Reptilian humanoids in world mythology include:
  • Boreas (Aquilon to the Romans): the Greek god of the cold north wind, described by Pausanias as a winged man with serpents instead of legs.
  • Cecrops I: the mythical first King of Athens was half man, half snake
  • Dragon Kings: creatures from Chinese mythology sometimes depicted as reptilian humanoids
  • Fu Xi and Nüwa: serpentine founding figures from Chinese mythology
  • Glycon: a snake god who had the head of a man.
  • The Gorgons: Sisters in Greek mythology who had serpents for hair.
  • Some djinn in Islamic mythology are described as alternating between human and serpentine forms.
  • The Lamia: a child-devouring female demon from Greek mythology depicted as half woman, half serpent.
  • Nāga reptilian beings from Hindu mythology said to live underground and interact with human beings on the surface.
  • Quetzalcoatl or the "feathered serpent", the creator god and sky god of the Aztecs; variously depicted as a man, a serpent, or a reptilian humanoid.
  • The Serpent: character from the Genesis creation myth occasionally depicted with legs, and sometimes identified with Satan.
  • Sobek: Ancient Egyptian crocodile-headed god
  • The White Snake: a figure from Chinese folklore
  • Zahhak, a figure from Zoroastrian mythology who, in Ferdowsi's epic Shahnameh, grows a serpent on either shoulder

  • The reptilians have been here since the beginning of man or before; there are many relics which depict such beings, perhaps they are mythic gods of our ancient cultures. Ancient Peruvian myth depicts virgins in sacrificial rites to the gods, as this ritual is common in many ancient cultures. In my research I have found there is a definite correlation between some abductee's past life memories, of being sacrificed to the gods. Some regressions recall ceremonial ritual led by a priestly figure; the gods appearing in a reptilian form. The virgins were given to Draco for the sacrifice - they were raped while their adrenaline energy was sucked from them as they lie dying. We have read about virgin sacrifices in the ancient texts, now we have more of the possible morbid details.
  • I believe malevolent reptilians are working in a small secret part of the government of USA. The agendas of the negative and positive reptilians are very different. It is my belief some reptilians are here because they have a strong bond to the human race. Perhaps they are working to absolve bad karma from their past actions, but I am afraid these are in the minority. Most are service to self and do not serve a higher good for humans; their agenda is one of control I think that they want us for been like

Angels

What's an angel?
First we have that the word angel comes from the hebrew "malakl" that means messenger.
As we know the angels are supernatural power, and their bodies if I can say they have, are made of astral light. They are ethereal that means that no one can touch them.

Why they have halo?
This is attributed to Ra the God of the sun with egipcians and Apolo the God of ligth and sun in Greece. This halo means a glow of glory and the origin of the angels, their home or the heaven.

The power of angels

When they want to talk with us, they can't send us an e-mail or phone, they speak to us through the Egrégora this means that thay can assume different forms. For example they can manifested in the thoughts or ideas of men, or whispering advice to chose the correct option because they are intelligent beings. They can also send us messages like when you are waling in the street and you suddenly see a big advertisement that says the answer of your problems, or when you're sad and suddenly your friend call you.
Finally angels can also talk with us in our dreams, until we didn't remember.

How many angels exist?
The angels as we know live in the heaven in different dimension to our, they are hundreds or tousands, but not all of them can down to our world.
The angels that down to the Earth are guardian angels and they take care of us, it exist a legion of angels and they and each group of guardian angels are ordered by an arcangel or a prince.
Kinds of angels
  • Seraphim, are the angels of intelligence and charity (Arcangel Metatron)

  • Cherubim, reflect the divine wisdom, join to the jovial temperament (Arcangel Raziel)
  • Thrones, proclaim the grandeur of God through the music (Arcangel Tsaphkiel)
  • Dominations, have the general government of the universe and serve faster when we using the instruments of magic invocations (Arcangel Tsadkiel)
  • Powers, protect the laws of the fisic and moral world, and conserve the animal breeding (Arcangel Camael)
  • Virtues, promote the wonders and miracles of healing (Arcangel Rafael)
  • Principalities, responsable of the kingdomes, states and contries, preserve the flora and fauna, the crystal and wealth of the Earth (Arcangel Haniel)
  • Arcangel, responsible of transmissions of important messages, defense of countries, parents and families (Arcangel Miguel)
  • Angels, care safety of the humans in their bodies (Arcangel Gabriel)

Why do we have guardian angels?

Before we born and angel had been elected for us depending of our birthday, it must stay with us until we had our eighth birthday, after this it could go to heaven.

False awakening

hello guys.

I was researching for some information about nightmares and I found this kind of dreams, maybe you have had one.

I couldn´t wait for show this information, I hope you enjoy this stuff.

False awakening

A false awakening is a vivid dream about awakening from sleep. After a false awakening, subjects often dream they are performing daily morning rituals such as cooking, cleaning and eating. The experience is sometimes called a double dream, or a dream within a dream.

Further concepts

Lucidity
A false awakening may occur following an ordinary dream or following a lucid dream (one in which the dreamer has been aware of dreaming). Particularly if the false awakening follows a lucid dream, the false awakening may turn into a "pre-lucid dream", that is, one in which the dreamer may start to wonder if they are really awake and may or may not come to the correct conclusion. False awakenings often preceded lucidity as a cue, but they could also follow the realization of lucidity, often losing it in the process.

Simulated reality
A false awakening has significance to the simulation hypothesis, which states that what we perceive as reality is an illusion, as made evident by our mind's inability to distinguish between reality and dreams. Therefore, advocates of the simulation hypothesis argue that the probability of our "true" reality being a simulated reality is affected by the prevalence of false awakenings.

Continuum
Another type of false awakening is a continuum. In a continuum, the subject falls asleep in real life, but in the dream following, the brain simulates the subject as though they were still awake. At times the individual can perform action unknowingly. The movie Nightmare on Elm Street popularized this phenomenon.

Symptoms of a false awakening

Realism and unrealism
Certain aspects of life may be dramatized, or out of place in false awakenings. Things may seem wrong: details, like the painting on a wall, not being able to talk or difficulty reading (purportedly reading in lucid dreams is often difficult or impossible). In some experiences, the subject's senses are heightened, or changed.

Repetition
Because the mind still dreams after a false awakening, there may be more than one false awakening in a single dream. Subjects may dream they wake up, eat breakfast, brush their teeth, and so on; suddenly awake again in bed (still in a dream), begin morning rituals again, awaken again, and so forth.

Types of false awakening

Type 1
Type 1 may be thought of as the "common-or-garden" sort, in which the dreamer seems to wake up, but not necessarily in realistic surroundings, that is, not in their own bedroom. A pre-lucid dream may ensue. More commonly, dreamers will believe they have awakened and then "fall back asleep" in the dream.

Type 2
The type 2 false awakening seems to be considerably less common. Green characterized it as follows: the subject appears to wake up in a realistic manner, but to an atmosphere of suspense. His surroundings may at first appear normal, and he may gradually become aware of something uncanny in the atmosphere, and perhaps of unwonted sounds and movements. Or he may "awake" immediately to a "stressed" and "stormy" atmosphere. In either case, the end result would appear to be characterized by feelings of suspense, excitement or apprehension.

RAM

The world "ram" could have been just an animal name, until a lucky guy decided to called his second album just like that, and why is this so important to write about??? Keep reading.

After the Beatles band was oficially desintegrated Paul McCartney and his wife Linda went on a lengthy holiday and spent much time on their farm on the Mull of Kintyre Scotland. It was during this period that Paul, often with Linda´s input, composed the songs that would feature on Ram.

Released in 1971, the album was given a mixed critical reception, and Paul was perticularly stung by some of the harsher reviews. Jon Landau in Rolling Stone labeled it "incredibly inconsequential" and "monumentally irrelevant", while Playboy opined, "you keep wondering why he bothers". However, after the passage of several years, critics began favorably revising their earlier opinions. By the 1980s, for instance, Rolling Stone began hailing the album as one of McCartney´s best, and retroactively awarded it four (of five) stars.
If you look on internet for some information about the album , you will find lyrics, the songs in a free downloadable way, but also the history of the disc that talks about a little figth between the Beatles because of some lyrics included on it.
I think you shouldn´t pay attention at the information and just listen the album, because although it was released in 1971, sounds like if it was a nowadays disc, the music and lyrics make an amazing combination that just can be from Paul´s crazy mind.

The Rastafari movement is a monotheistic, new religious movement that arose in a Christian culture in Jamaica in the 1930s. Its adherents, who worship Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia, former Emperor of Ethiopia (1930–1936 and 1941–1974), as the Second Advent, are known as Rastafarians, or Rastas. The movement is sometimes referred to as "Rastafarianism", but this term is considered derogatory and offensive by some Rastas, who dislike being labelled as an "ism".

Rastafari is not a highly organized religion; it is a movement and an ideology. Many Rastas say that it is not a "religion" at all, but a "Way of Life". Most Rastas do not claim any sect or denomination, and thus encourage one another to find faith and inspiration within themselves, although some do identify strongly with one of the "mansions of Rastafari" — the three most prominent of these being the Nyahbinghi, the Bobo Ashanti and the Twelve Tribes of Israel.

The name Rastafari is taken from Ras Tafari, the pre-regnal title of Haile Selassie I, composed of Amharic Ras (literally "Head," an Ethiopian title equivalent to Duke), and Haile Selassie's pre-regnal given name, Tafari. Rastafari are generally distinguished for asserting the doctrine that Haile Selassie I, the former, and final, Emperor of Ethiopia, is another incarnation of the Christian God, called Jah. They see Haile Selassie I as Jah or Jah Rastafari, who is the second coming of Jesus Christ onto the Earth.

The Rastafari movement encompasses themes such as the spiritual use of cannabis and the rejection of western society (called Babylon, in reference more to the metaphoric Babylon of Christianity than to the historical Mesopotamian city-state). It proclaims Africa (also "Zion") as the original birthplace of mankind, and embraces various Afrocentric social and political aspirations such as the sociopolitical views and teachings of Jamaican publicist, organizer, and Black Nationalist Marcus Garvey (also often regarded as a prophet).

Today, awareness of the Rastafari movement has spread throughout much of the world, largely through interest generated by reggae music. The most notable example is Jamaican singer/songwriter Bob Marley (died 1981). By 1997, there were around one million Rastafari faithful worldwide. About five to ten percent of Jamaicans identify themselves as Rastafari.

Bob Marley was a hero figure, in the classic mythological sense. His departure from this planet came at a point when his vision of One World, One Love -- inspired by his belief in Rastafari -- was beginning to be heard and felt. The last Bob Marley and the Wailers tour in 1980 attracted the largest audiences at that time for any musical

The "hitler diaries" hoax

in 1983 the german magazine der stern announced that reporter gerd heidermann had made an incredible discovery :diaries written by adolf hitler
the magazine explained that the diaries had been found by farmers after a nazi plane crashed in a field in april 1945, der stern paid almost 10 million marks to a Dr. fisher, who claimed to have retrieved them.
the discovery caused a lot of excitement. magazines and newspapers in london and new york rushed to print excerpts from the diaries, and scholars and researchers couldn´t wait to get their hands on the material to learn more about the century´s most infamous dictator.
but some skeptics argued that the story couldn´t be true, it was well known that hitler didn´t like to take notes. nonetheless, der stern insisted that the authenticity of the diaries was unquestionable.
however when experts began to examine them, it became clear that the diaries were fake, it turnedout that "dr fischer" was actually konrad kujau,an art forger who had written the diaries himself, imitating hitler´s own handwritting.
and both, he and heidemann had been putting the money from der stern into their own bank accounts. both were sent to prison for fraud.

In the far 50's a group of american writers shaped what was known as the Beat Generation. This term is also to the cultural phenomenon tha bloom with de ideas of this writers. The idea came from Jack Kerouac and John Clellon Holmes. They didn't want to find a name for it, they wanted to make it nameless. In 1952 Clellon made an manifiesto in the New York Times entitled "This is the Beat Generation".

The central elements of this cultura and writers were the use if drugs, freedom in sexuality, the reject for the clasic american values and materialism and the interest in Eastern religion. This was the base of the 60's movement, the hippie. Started in New York but eventually move to San Francisco.

The most important books of this culture are Howl by Allen Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs's Naked Lunch and Jack Keoruac's On The Road. The founders of this awasome group were Jack Kerouac, Neal Cassady, William Burroughs, John Clellon Holmes and Allen Ginsberg. Giselle Hernandez and Paola Giachero were two beautiful latin girls whom give the writers their inspiration, specially to Allen and Jack. But they died in a tragic elevator accident. this is how the writers started their experiments with drugs, trying to recreate their muses.

Their aesthetic was adopted by the masas, since de end of 50's until the earlier 60's. Young people take On The Road as a cult book. Thier philosophy of spiritual freedom lead to a sexual freedom that at the same time lead to a female and black people freedom, the raise of hippie culture and, eventually, homosexual freedom. (I know I said "freedom" too many times, I'm sorry but that's the way this is).

They also have an influence in a lot of musicians like Bob Dylan, Tuli Kupferberg, Jim Morrison, Arthur Lee, Janis Joplin and Patti Smith. So now you know, if you want some of the real hippie conexion, get On The Road or Howl, you may not regret it.
