Brands in our minds

The market is evolving vertiginously, not only by the protagonist that the client has acquired in these last times, but because the new technologies in the economic world, besides the Internet, have created the necessity to create a new strategic vision that it does difficult to predict his final reach and consequences.

The consumers have taken the relief to the production; since at present, they are the true creators of the interest of the companies, is there where the brand of each company or product enters.

The brand is, essentially, a promise. Therefore, it is not enough whereupon it satisfies the needs and expectations with the clients. It must be able to wake up enthusiasm and to create lasting loyalties. The new mandate of marketing, therefore, consists of creating a powerful brand, which inspires confidence and of which emanates an excellent and differentiated promise.

To have a strong name can be, besides valuable assets, the more effective competitive weapon for a company. And although the brands do not have a limited service life, a bad administration can kill them or cause that they are losing value throughout the time. Therefore all effort is very important that the company pawns on securing the wished positioning, but the positioning does not talk about the product, but to which it takes control of the mind of the probable clients or people to whom it is wanted to influence; this is how the product in the mind of these is located.

Thanks to the globalization and to the constant bombing of publicity we have forgotten than in fact we needed and what we are buying, a clear example is when we wished a tail soda water of cola you request as it…. Can you give me a tail soda water of cola or a Coca-Cola?

And if they do not believe me you can see the next video. Logorama is an animated short French of 16 minutes, directed by Fran1cois Alaux, Hervé de Crecy and Ludovic Houplain and produced by Author of Minuit. The film presents/displays diverse situations happened in a Los Angeles filled with more than 2.500 logos and mascots of diverse companies. The short gained the Kodak Prize in the Festival of Cinema of Dogs of the 2009, and the Oscar to the best short animated in the Prizes Oscar of 2010.

Logorama explores the extent to which logos are embedded in our daily existence. Said members of H5, "Logorama presents us with an over-marketed world built only from logos and real trademarks that are destroyed by a series of natural disasters (including an earthquake and a tidal wave of oil). Logotypes are used to describe an alarming universe (similar to the one that we are living in) with all the graphic signs that accompany us everyday in our lives. This over-organized universe is violently transformed by the cataclysm becoming fantastic and absurd. It shows the victory of the creative against the rational, where nature and human fantasy triumph."

And i have a theory..... minimun you know 20 brands in the video.

The Rastafari Culture

When the world was called to redemption, announcing the inevitable fall of the throne of Babylon by divine intervention, it was the year of 1930 when a black king’s coronation in Ethiopia is proclaimed, as the fulfillment of biblical prophecies that tells of the second coming of Christ to earth in his own divine lineage. Several events in Africa, especially in Ethiopia, talks about the old African Kingdom that started at the Holy City of Jerusalem: from Mount Zion to the tribes Rastafarians.

It helped as inspiration for the exploited and battered masses, for the poor Jamaicans and the African descent seeking to save their lives from the horrors of slavery and degradation.

The main influence in the foundation of Rasta Doctrine was Mr. Marcus Mosiah Garvey, who was the first orator internationally recognized of the black conscience. He was who announced the early coronation of a black king in Africa what will redeem blacks scattered on the planet. He said:

“Look carefully to Africa, because when a black king be crowned, the day of redemption will be close.”

We could say that Marcus Garvey is the Juan Bautista of culture Rastafari.

Is not about a religion, is not an organization, there’s no a director, the Rastafarians doesn’t accept organized power. Rastafarianism is an attitude, is a way to understand the life…

Illegal business: Traffic of animals

A very serious problem around the animals is the illegal traffic of them.
The trade of protected animals is the third most profitable illegal business in the world, after the drugs and arms sales.

The contries most affected by this problem are Argentina, Indonesia, Thailand and Spain.

Rhinoceroces, tigers, elephants, chimpanzees, crocodiles, leopards and exotic birds and frogs are only some animals that are in danger of extinction because they are captured to be sold or to obtain food, skins, thophies, teeth, tourist objects, traditional medicines and others things.

The most miserable of the illegal traffic of animals is:
Three quarters parts of the animals die during the capture, transportation and marketing, so new captures will be necessaries to meet the demand of the clandestine market.

Consequences of the illegal traffic of animals:
  • Alters populations of protected animals
  • Declines and causes direct effects on others species and subsequently disrupts the food chain.
  • And the most important and worrisome is the loss of biodiversity in the world.
Animals proteccion in danger of extinction:

Several institutions make a big effort to be aware of the gravity of this problem.

There are laws that control the periods of time and the maximum number of animals that is permitted to hunt.

Also there are people that protect the species in periods of match up and breed.

However, ultil now all this hasn't been enough to stop the illegal traffic of animals.

Obesity issues in Mexico

Obesity and overweight problems un Mexico are causing severe health issues on people who suffer these disorders. Another problem is the huge economic cost for medical facilities because, some researches show taht in this year (2010), 80 billions pesos have been spent to attend to needs of patients with obesity diseases caused by obesity and overweight.

According to a study of the New England Journal of Medicine, only 13 percent of parents accept that their children have overweight and obesity problems because it is very difficult to convince them to modify the eating habits of themselves.

In my concern Ithink that we have to take care about children habits because they are still naive and they can eat a lot of junk food thinking that is healthy for them.
